My brother, sister and I are traveling to Ireland this spring in search of our Irish roots that include the Roachor Roche Family of Glanworth, Middleton, Cork. I guess that our ancestors likely may have left for Canada through Cobh and we plan to stop there. Would love to visit Middleton as well.

I found a James Roach, who came from Midleton, County Cork. He was born abt 1829 and died 1-31-1872 near Omaha, NE while working on the railroad.
There is a photo of his grave and other info on findagrave.com
He is not related, but was born about the same time as my James Roach.
