Sarah was baptized in St Munchins in 1834 parents John and Mary (Lyons)Hourigan. She came to North America prior to 1855 when her first son was born to Matthias Lezotte, her husband. She had a brother Patrick born 1830 St. Mary’s, Limerick City and Bridget born 1831 in St. Munchins. I would like to confirm that this is my Sarah. The records in the states show her born 19 July but baptized 28 June. Thank you for any help!

Lezotte:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Can you clarify if your have other documents that indicate that Sarah's parents were John Hourigan and Mary Lyons?

On her death certificate it shows John as her father. Mother unknown. No other documents show who her parents are.

Hi there
This query was passed onto me and I can confirm that Sarah Hourigan was indeed baptised on the 28th June 1934 in St Munchins Parish, Mother Mary Lyons and John Hourigan. I have attached a link and you will find the registration of the baptism on the bottom R corner

Is there any other records for a death of John and Mary (Lyons) Hourigan? Or a marriage for them? I’m sorry I didn’t see your reply in September. I didn’t get an email showing an answer. Thank you for your response and hope you can help me further!

Dear Linda:
You might check the website Irish Genealogy to see if they have any death records for either John and Mary Hourigan. Civil deaths were registered from 1864 in Ireland. In addition, you might also check the Historic Graves website which has done a huge job of recording, photographing and transcribing headstones all over Ireland. Limerick has been very actively involved in this. Here are the links that I have mentioned for you.

Mount St Lawrence is a very large graveyard in Limerick which has its own database. It is well worth a look.
Limerick City Archives has a number of online collections that you might useful for research.
I will also let Annette know that I have posted, as she may be able to add further information.
Kind regards,
Jane.
