Sarah Martin, the daughter of John Martin and Martha Porter was born or baptized on 16 October 1823 in Dromore Parish. She's paired up with a Robert Armstrong from Legananny in familysearch, but I question this. Can anyone provide more information on the family? An address? additional children? a marriage date for John and Martha, anything will help, Thanks!

Marriage of a Sarah Mary Martin and a William James Armstrong Markethill 1913 ( I wonder if there is a family connection?)

I don't know the area well, so I couldn't guess. It's a different parish and county. Is Dromore parish near there? There were a lot of Martin families living in Northern Ireland at the time.

Dromore (from Irish Droim Mór, meaning 'large ridge')[1] is a small market town and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies within the local government district of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon I think Armagh was the civil registration district.

The civil registration towns for Dromore are Banbridge and Lisburn. Some townlands are in one and some in the other.

This record was found on Ancestry. Seems to match the one you found on familysearch.

Here's what I know of the Legananny Sarah Martin. She was married 16 September 1841 with consent of her parents.
Question: Does this mean she was under 21 at the time of her marriage?
According to her death record she was at least 25. The birth of her last child was in 1866, so being born in 1815 would make her 51. Probably feasible. However, the age of 45 sounds more reasonable, so the Dromore Sarah Martin would fit nicely.
Her residence was in Drumgooland at the time of her marriage.
Her children were named, in order: John, Esther, Robert, Susanna, William, Mary Jane, Edward, James, Sarah Mary, and Margarett.
If we compare this to the naming pattern of the time period. John is named after Robert's father, and Esther is named after Robert's mother. It's possible either of both of those names are also Sarah's parents. Susanna is Roberts oldest sister, then Robert presumably named after his father. Either of these names could also be Sarah's parents. William is Robert's younger brother, the eldest, following him. Mary Jane, named after Robert's youngest sister is somewhat of a mystery, as Robert's next sister Elizabeth is skipped entirely. (Is it possible she was excluded because she died in infancy? Robert would have known about her as he was 15 when she was born. Edward is named after the parish priest. James is named after Robert's youngest brother and Sarah Mary, after her mother. I don't know where the name Margarett came from. I mention this because the naming pattern of the children does not seem to provide any information about Sarah's family, probably suggesting duplication of names in both families because they are likely closely related.
Question: Am I thinking this through correctly? if so, it is more likely Sarah is the daughter of either John or Robert Martin from Legananny, and not the daughter of Martha Porter, as there is not a child named after her.
Question: How far is Dromore parish from Drumgooland parish? Is the distance feasible for a farmer? I have found family ties to Castlewellan, which appears to be the closest market town to Legananny, but, as of right now, no connections to anyone from Dromore.
I forgot to mention that Martha is paired with the John Marin from Legananny, as well. If this were true, Martha would be from Dromore parish and John from Legananny. a marriage record would prove or disprove this, and resolve everything, I think. If John is from any other parish, it's all a family myth that has bee perpetuated through generations, as John a farmer from Legananny would have only lived in Dromore if he was a farm hand, which isn't likely, as he was the son of a farmer, a heir to Robert Master. However, his brother inherited the farm, so it is possible he moved to a market town and didn't farm. I do not have much to work with. In fact, A 1799 lease agreement with him listed as one of the lives on the lease is the only source I have found.
Final Question: Is it likely I'll find a marriage record for John and Martha, records of the birth of other children, and/or burial records in the Dromore parish records? The Martins were primarily non-conformists, but also church of Ireland.
