I am looking for the parents of my GGrandfather, John Henry Wolfe. He is said to have been born in Cardiff abt 1857. His parents, Jeremiah Cockly (spelled as in 1841 census) and Mary Anne (nee Wolfe) said to be born in ireland abt 1816 and 1821 (although ages rounded up/down in that census). Family legend says they came from Co Cork, if not Cork City, but we have no proof of this. In 1841 they had a male visitor from Ireland aged 45, Nona Cockly and Johana aged 14. I believe that Jeremiah may also have had a child called Nona. His occupation is is described as a Smith in the census, but at the marriage of my GGfather to Annie Condren in 1878 he is a Gas Fitter (Annie's father a Master Mariner).
My grandmother was Violet Coakley. There were also Sullivan cousins around them in Cardiff, but I don't know where they are from so they don't help.
Any help gratefully received.

Thank you Bob, I'll see if it's the right one. Unfortunately it won't tell me anything more about his parents and their lives in Ireland. That's where I'm stuck and am hoping someone will recognise them from their family.
Thanks for your help.
