I am searching for family of Ora Mae Condon. She was my Great Grandmother. We have a book titled "The Condon Clan" . I just wanted info on the Condon family dated back to the 1700's. In our book, there are pictures of castles that our family once owned. I was just wondering if they are still standing today. In the 1980's some of the Condons went to Ireland and took pictures of those castles. It was really neat to see my family history before me. Where would I search to see of those castles are standing today? I have my family book in a box. It has the names of the castles and locations. Thank you!

If you type castles of ireland into your search engine it brings up a list . its a rootsweb site. If you click on other counties it will take you other places. I don't know what county you are looking for .
I know that my own county council Tipperary South Riding county council has a list with pictures of all the monuments in the county including castles. All listed in alphabetical order.
So try the co. co. of the county you're interested in and see what they have on their website.
