Hi i am james o brien .im looking for information on nellie or Ellen o brien from fermoy co cork possibly grange or mitchelstown glenduff Born about 1908. She was 40 at my birth .

I was born in cork 12 March 1946.im in my 70s now but i would really like to find my family .Nellie is on my birth cert as my mother and James o brien was her husband .My sponsors were Michael spillane and Bridie Duggan. I have no record of any family members . Any help would be appreciated

  • Thanks a million for your reply . I will look into these.. I didn't have any luck finding the sponsors . I was born in st Kevin's nursing home in 29 south terrace cork and records show she was possibly 40 in 1946.

    Nellie husbands name was James o brien born about 1907 fermoy . the records show that nellie o brien had 2 other children before me but I don't have names for them . Any help eould be great please ?
