My Grandmother, Annie O'Brien, born 27 Feb 1897 at Lough Eske, daughter of James O'Brien (a coachman) of Salt Hill, Donegal and his wife Bridget (nee Loughlin), moved to Glasgow sometime after the First World War and met and married my Grandfather, Michael Lenaghan of Leitrim. For some reason, my Grandfather changed his surname to Leonard, and used that name on their marriage certificate in 1924.

I'd appreciate any confirmation of relatives and/or my Great Grandparents.

I remember my dad, also Pat Leonard, talking about her brother, Paddy, who had lost his legs due to disease.

I may be visiting the Salt Hill area in September and it would be great to find out a bit  more of my history.

Many thanks

Pat Leonard
