Seeking ancestors Great Grandparents

Hi everybody,

I am in search of where my ancestors were from. My great grandmother who was Margaret Lydon nee Freyne . Unfortunately I do not have the details of where she was born only when she passed away which was dated 03/10/1986. She was the mother to my Grandfather who's name was Michael Lydon. My fathers Dad. My Father was Michael james Lydon. He was named after my Grandfather.

My great grandfather name was William Lydon. He passed away 09/09/1960. Unfortunately This is the only bit of information I have for now.  My grandfather I met in 1997. Also meeting my Biological Father in 1997.when he was diagnosed with cancer he passed away in 2001. He never got to go into details about whakapapa which means family geneoalogy but had showed me where his mum was buried and where he was raised. And a lot of his childhood, he was a proud humble person. My father was

 I would like to know if anyone has any information I would be more than appreciative of any kind of assistance in searching of where my ancestors were from. I'm not positively or 100% sure if they were Full irish or had other ethnicities onl
