My great grandad Henry Christopher Sheils was born to Henry Sheils and Sarah Anne. They lived in Ushers Quay. He had a sister called Margaret Mary who I believe married a Patrick Byrne. My great grandad married an Annette Tarr also from Dublin. Her parents were from Cork. Henry C and Ann Tarr had a son (my grandad) also Henry Sheils. They emigrated to the UK sometime in the 40s. I'm looking to trace relatives, especially descendants of Margaret Mary Sheils/Byrne or Harry Tarr, brother of Annette Tarr.

We are unable to trace living, or potentially living, people due to privacy restrictions, and the more recent records are subject to cut-offs - e.g. births at 1919, marriages at 1945, however you can post details of your Sheils family to the Ancestor Database so that anyone else researching the same family would be able to find the details in a search.
For reference the Henry Sheils, Annette Tarr marriage took place on the 5th December 1936, in the registrar’s office Dublin city, the groom is noted as 29 year old, the bride 25 years old.
Annette Jane Tarr age ‘under 6 months’ is shown on the 1911 census at Phibsboro Road with her brother Herry, their parents, several relatives and three lodgers. The head of the household is shown as born Cork City, his wife Adelaide and the children as born Dublin city the family is Church of Ireland.
If you need further assistance with research into Henry & Sarah Ann post their details (dates addresses etc) and I can check into their marriage etc. for you..
