Hi Kate,
You will find the birth records for James Slattery and Margaret Ward on Free site - www.irishgenealogy.ie
Margaret's mother is recorded as Catherine Ward.
I have not found any marriage record in the years 1920 to 1940.
The address for Margaret is the townland of Patch, Civil parish of Clonbern, Barony of Ballymoe, Poor Law Union of Glenamaddy.
There are other townlands in that part of County Galway also named "Patch"!
Best Wishes,

Hi Kate,
There are many Wards from Glennamaddy and Clonberne. In fact, my grandfathers brother Patrick marreied Bridget Ward in 1900 in Glennamaddy and they raised a large familty in Patch. I can't find it now but I'm sure I saw a reltion between Bridget and Catherine somewhere. Hope that helps a bit.
