Henrietta Spink (1890 – 1948) was my paternal grandmother
Parents John Spink (1851 – 1935) and Annie McIntyre (1859-?)
John and Anne were married 16 Oct 1876 in Rathdown, Dublin, Ireland
On the 1901 census the Spink family is shown in Gaybrook townland, Enniscoffey parish
The family is Church of Ireland
John’ profession is listed as “Sub Postmaster” and “Auxiliary Postman”
Annie’s profession is listed as “Post Office Assistant” and she was born in county Dublin
The dwelling where they lived is listed as both the post office and a private dwelling
Henrietta is listed as 10 years old
Her sister Emily is listed as 4 years old
Henrietta left Ireland in 1908 and came to Cleveland, Ohio in 1908/1909; likely going through Canada first before coming to the USA.
In 1910 Henrietta met and married John Kilroy in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to their marriage, Henrietta converted to the Catholic Church.
On the 1911 census the Spink family is shown in Gaybrook Demesne townland, Enniscoffey parish
The family is Church of Ireland
John’ profession is listed as “Sub Postmaster” and “Postman”
Annie does not have a profession listed
The dwelling where they lived is listed as a private dwelling
Daughter Emily is listed as 14 years old
Based on the number of children born – 5; and the number of children still living – 5;
Found a birth registration for a daughter, born in 1877 in Rathdown, Dublin which is where her mother was from and where her parents were married.
Found brothers William Thomas and Henry
William Thomas born1882
Henry born 1889
John Kilroy (1883-1955) was from Glenhest, Newport, county Mayo and he came to Cleveland in 1905.
John and Henrietta’s children were:
Josephine (Sr. Mary Vincent, OSU) (1911 – 2000)
Gilbert (1912 – 1975)
John P., Jr (1914-1914)

I would like to be able to find any other descendants of John Spink and Annie McIntyre Spink. Also, is there still a post office in Gaybrook?
I have subscriptions to ancestry.com; Find My Past, rootsireland.ie, and Family Search. Would welcome any new suggestions for searching for additional details on this family.
I will be in Mullingar for vacation this summer from the evening of Saturday, August 18th through Monday morning, August 20th. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
