I am trying to research my Irish family ancestry and have kind of hit a brick wall.

I am the great granddaughter of Evelyn Margaret Supple (03 Jul 1910 Iowa, USA - 26 Sep 1997 Iowa, USA) who married Donald Brown Lewis (25 Sep 1908 Iowa, USA - 13 Nov 1992 Iowa, USA).

Her parents were James Supple (May 1862 Iowa, USA - 1947, USA) who married Margaret Joshepine Donahue (17 Mar 1879 Iowa, USA - 27 Feb 1851 Iowa, USA).

James Supple's parents were Jeremiah Supple (04 Jul 1828 County Cork, Ireland - 19 Mar 1882 Iowa, USA) and Mary Kate Cronin (1829 County Cork, Ireland - 20 Nov 1890 Iowa, USA). From what I have found out, they married in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada in 1852, where they also had their first daughter, Frances Margarite (Aug 1854). Their second daughter, Abigail Ann (Feb 1856) was born in Illinois, USA. The rest of the children were born in Iowa, USA: John (Aug 1858), James (May 1862), Michael (Dec. 1864), and Mary Ellen (Dec 1865).

Jeremiah's parents were John Supple (1805 County Cork, Ireland - Oct 1875 Iowa, USA) and Bridget ? (abt 1805 Ireland - Aug 1878 Iowa, USA). Potential last names for Bridget are Smith, Daly, O'Niell and Mahony.

Mary Kate's parents were John Cronin (1795 Youghal, Cork, Ireland - ?) and Abigail Foley (1800 Youghal, Cork, Ireland - ?)

I have found potential parents for John Supple - William Supple (1770 County Cork, Ireland) and either Mary Lyons (1775 County Cork, Ireland) or Mary English.

If anyone has any information about these families, I would love to talk with you...
