Ellen:
The townland of Coolcappagh is actually in the civil parish of Clonagh which is just to the east of Kilcolman civil parish.
I looked at the 1850 Griffiths Valuation head of Household listing for Co. Limerick and there were only eight Fallahy (or variant spelling) households. Only two were in the general area of Coolcappagh. They were in the civil parish of Rathronan which is between Kilcolman and Clonagh parishes.
I also looked at all civil registration events (birth, marriage and death) from 1864-1900 in the area around Coolcapple and there was only one event ( a birth in 1880) in the 36 year period.
So from what I can see the surname was very scarce after your family left.
Let me know if you have any questions.

There was one family in Limerick with that surname and I think they all have passed on now but there are descendants still in Limerick city.

Rosie,
Thanks for the information. Do you have any ideas of names of the descendants in Limerick City? Surprised you found a Fallahee, they seem pretty scarce. My last known direct ancestor emigrated to Pennsylvania, USA in 1832. There was a community from Limerick in Friendsville. Also called Apolocan or Susquehanna Co.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your efforts on behalf of my search based on Thomas Fallahee and his son, Patrick Fallahee who both emigrated to Friendsville Pennsylvania in 1832, joining a community of others from the same area in Limerick. Your information is most helpful in my understanding of the location of Coolcappagh. .
Again, Thank You

Hi Ellen. There is a Peter Falahee, Paul Falahee and a Katie Falahee on the Limerick City Citizens Website. Its a free website anyone can join its a great website for finding information, and Limerick people are very helpful indeed. I am sure they are the descendants from the Falahee i once knew many years ago , The Falahee family were a very talented family. .If you join the website you can type in the family name and you will come across some old photos of family members who have passed away. I hope this will be some help to you. Kind regards Rosie
