Thomas McGreal of Ballyhaunis, was born in 1826 and married Bridget McGuire in 1848 at age 22. Their only child, Thomas Edward McGreal, was born in 1849, the same year Thomas McGreal died. Bridget remarried in 1850 and later immigrated to the U.S. with her son Thomas.
I am looking for any information on Thomas the elder.

The RC records for Ballyhaunis parish start in 1851-1852 so there would be no baptismal record for Thomas Sr. if he was from that parish. There are no McGreal records in the 1833 Tithe records for Annagh civil parish.
