I am tracing the Rea family from Shandrum.
Father Thomas Rea (abt 1802 - 1884) married Honora Gormnan before 1834 and had 8 children, all baptised in Shandrum. Thomas was a farmer at Newtown South.
I am seeking their birth, marriage or death details to continue tracing their ancestors.

You posted in Kilkenny county but I understand you want Shandrum parish in Co. Cork.
Roots Ireland has records back to 1793 for Shandrum parish but I was unable to find the marriage record. Marriages usually took place in the bride's parish and likely that parish does not have records back before 1834. I also could not find a baptismal record for Thomas.
Currently we only have death records online for 1891-1940. Eventually the 1864-1890 records will be made available online.
You can write to the General Register Office and get a copy of the record if you can't wait for the record to go online.
