I am searching for any connections to the Wallaces or Fordes of Ballinderreen.I believe them to be from Catron,Ballinderreen,Galway.
We believe my husband's grandmother is Maggie( Margaret ) listed on the 1901 census, parents names Patrick Wallace and Bridget Connelly. We think she married a man called John Forde??
I would appreciate any information that can be shared.

I looked for the death records for Patrick and Bridget but did not find any records.

This is Arleen Hyland. Possible 2nd cousin via Bridget Wallace (grandmother) , sister to Maggie Wallace. Let me know if you get this.

Hi Arleen
I have just seen your message,I am sorry for the delay in responding.I am doing this research on behalf of my husband Tom (Stephen) My husbands grandmother was called Delia(Bridget) Naughton she married a man called Michael Killeen. Her mother was called Annie Geraghty she married a Michael Naughton.Does any of the sound familiar? The Geraghty name is on the maternal side?? I haven't found any Geraghty on the paternal side...yet 😁 Look forward to hearing from you.Kind regards Alyso Alyson Wallace 😁

Hi Aly,
My grandmother, Bridget Wallace, does not appear to be related to your Margaret. After arriving in New York City 1910, from Balinderreen, she married John Charles Hyland 1915 in Manhattan, N.Y.
The Geraghty name is my husband's, so no blood relation there. I have no knowledge of Naughton or Killeen relations.
Sorry it didn't work out. Best to you in your search.
