(Edited to change Old Ross to New Ross) We Ward researchers on 2 continents (USA and Australia) are interested in collaborating with anyone researching Edward Ward and wife Anastasia Mullally, late 1700s into the early 1800s. We suspect they are parents of our Patrick Ward along with a daughter Catherin(e), Dermetrius (as spelled in parish ledger) and maybe Thomas (hard to read print). Several other women with the Mullally surname married Whitty men. That surname seems to be the most common in Old Ross during that time period. The surname for Anastasia in the hard-to-read entry for Thomas is Molloy, which we have previously noted in our research.
Another person we suspect as being a child of Edward and Anastasia in Mary

You may already know this from your research, but Demeterius was the Latinized form used by some parish priests for the Irish name Diarmuid (often anglicized as Dermot). Another Latinized form used for Diarmuid was Jeremiah, which also became the anglicized form in may cases.
It is interesting that your Ward and Mullally ancestors were from Wexford, because both surnames originated in the West or Northwest of Ireland. Mullally originated in Galway, and is the usual anglicized form of the Irish surname Ó Maolalaidh, although Lally was also sometimes used as an anglicization, and this is what MacLysaght says about the surname Ward in his Surnames of Ireland: "Ward is a common English name, but nearly all Irish Wards are Mac an Bhaird (son of the bard), the name of two noted bardic septs, [which he goes on to say were found in Galway and Donegal]". The Ward surame is fairly common in Mayo as well (north of Galway), and I have Ward relatives there. I don't know whether they originally migrated up from Galway or down from Donegal, since there were population moves from both places into Mayo, especially in the 1600's. Perhaps some also migrated to Wexford.

J. Ward:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I checked on the subscription site FindMyPast.ie and and found the baptismal records for Catherine and Demetrios and also a John in 1806 and another john in 1807. Likely the 1806 John died young and maybe the 180 John did also. They did have a record which is likely Thomas in 1814, however, when I went to the parish register for October 1814, I can't find the actual record

My genealogist cousin in Australia has established contact with a descendant of Jeremiah "Darby" Ward, a son of Edward Ward and Anastasia Molloy/Mulloy/Mullally. The descendant is a DNA match to a 4th cousin who also has the Ward surname and is a descendant of one of my great grandfather's brothers. So, it looks like we have an established link with that family in New Ross. :)
