We are currently tracing our lineage and would like confirmation on some of the things we have found. We have a number of ancestors that we have connected to Hacketstown but the one we are most interested in is Phillip. We have Phillip Welch getting married in Hacketstown in 1666 to Hanna Haggett. We have the year Phillip was born but no other information. We are hoping someone has information on his place of birth and his parents names and any other information beyond that. We'd truly appreciate it!

Hello again! We do not have access to any records (RC or C if I) back to the 17th century in Hacketstown. Just want to confirm that 1666 was not a typo.

Thanks for the info! Are you saying that these records don't exist or that IrelandXO just doesn't have access to them online? Is this something where we would have to travel to Hacketstown and look at records locally?

The records don't exist.
RC records start 1820 and C of I start around 1877. Earlier records destroyed in 1922.
