Hello Paula, are you looking for living family, I searched briefly for the two names and there is more of the Whearty on Roots Ireland and on this site about County Louth http://jbhall.clahs.ie/ I also done a short check on the names in Roots Ireland a subscription site and see a birth in Mornington (Meath) in 1903 among many in the Drogheda area. St Marys Parish is in the Diocese of Meath but takes in parts fo the geographic counties of Louth and Meath, in more recent times it is a smaller parish as others have been carved out as the population increased. RC baptisms commence in 1834 and marriages in 187The The 1901 and 1911 census are onlne, revert if links required (free) as are BMDS from civil records as previous, deaths to 1972, marriages to 1941 maybe 1942 this year and births to 1921.
If you are looking for living people we do not do that unless they see your post and reply themselves, however there are a number of private Facebook pages on Genealogy and I checked the Drogheda Down Memory Lane - Lost Family one and see some Whearty people there if you wish to apply to join, there is also a Drogheda Down Memory Lane page in case you get the wrong one, there is also a Louth Genealgy page and I assume the same for Meath.
Let me know if you have a specific query.
Good Luck

Thank you so much for your response. Sorry, I'm just now seeing it, have had major living arrangement changes, all unexpected. I am researching my Great-great Grandfather Peter Wherity (Whearty) Parents Owen Whearty and Mary Kelly.
They had 8 children: Michael Sep 6 1819, James Feb 6, 1822, John Mar 2, 1827, Owen May 24, 1829, Catherine Apr 2, 1832, Peter July 11, 1834 and Nicholas Jan 6, 1837, all baptized Ardcath, Meath Parish Ardcath & Clonalvy.
James, Patrick and Peter immagrated to US about 1853 to San Francisco, California, bakers by trade.
What I am looking for is any information on Owen Whearty and Mary Kelly, marriage, death?
I know Nicholas Whearty married Elizabeth Morgan and have their children.
I would like to find out more on Micheal, John, Owen and Catherine, all I have is their baptism.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I can see no marriage for the Owen Whearty and Mary Kelly, while RC records for Ardcath go back to the late 1700s the adjoining parishes are much later starting 1830 and further on, it is probable the marriage took place in the brides parish as was the custom and she was not from Ardcath, Ardcath is in Meath as you know but adjoining parishes are in Louth and Dublin.
I do see some Whearty marriages in Ardcath and they may be siblings of Owen. The baptisms are available as Ardcath is has records, unfortunatley parishes either did not take records are they are lost for a variety of reasons unknown.
Civil records for RC marriages only commence in 1864 so pinpointing exact marriages prior to this can be tricky as the parents names will rarely be included. I looked at registrations in Drogheda post 1864 and there is no male marriage with a father Owen.ha
THere are a lot of marriages pre 1864 from 1835 and the various names do not include the more unusal ones on your line. There is a John Whearty marrying an Eleanor Allen in Ardcath in 1863, 27th September. There are no other marriages in Ardcath that I see. Another issue we have is that the parish of St Marys, Meath which is located in both Louth and Meath does not record marriages before 1874 but civil records from 1864 available. There are a number of baptisms to this couple, address is Bellewstown, Duleek, this is close to Ardcath.
There are no baptisms with father Owen. There are a number of baptisms to a mother Catherine Whearty father Nicholas Kelly in Drogheda but no marriage to suit, possibly in St Mary's, there is also a Catherine Whearty father Quinn but the marriage records her fathers name as Patrick and it is in Termonfeckin about 5 miles the other side of Drogheda so she may have married Kelly.
This sort of highligths the issue for you, I am looking at the subscription site Roots Ireland.
Good Luck
