Hello,  My White/Whyte Family came from Doon, Ballyconnell, Tomregan, County of Cavan, IE!  DNA from my brother shows that they were they from 1400 till 1820!  John White and wife, Elinor (Elizabeth) with children, Robert, Daniel, James, Edward, and Elinor.  They came to Phily, PA abt 1816 so this is an earlier time for IE!  John born abt 1761 and Elinor abt 1771, Daniel born abt 1800 and Elinor born 1807 there!  Have baptism of Elinor and they were members of Tomregan Church of Ireland there in Ballyconnell.  He was a stonemason there and was Methodist in USA!  Hope I can find more information!  Have been there in 2018 and saw the church, etc.  Cindy Whyte Jones

I searcched the subscription site Roots Ireland which has Tomregan Church of Ireland records back to 1797. The only other baptismal record I could find was for Edward. Not sure why the other baptismal records were not included.

Edward White baptized November 25 1804 father John White mother Elizabeth White.

  • Thank you for information but I forgot to say that I had Edward's baptism too!  I have nothing more for this family as they came into USA abt 1816 and lived in Morris Twp, Greene Co, PA, USA!  There also was two brothers of John named Andrew and James!  Have nothing more but I know that finding any more is probably going to be a mircle!
