trying to get info on my GR Grandmother Catherine White all i know is that she had my Grandfather in the workhouse in Balrothery in 1884 after that i cannot find anything about her .Her son is Robert Whyte no father named on his birth certificate do not know when the spelling of his surname changed He was a postman and a BGA reservist and boarded with the wilmot family( Census 1911) where he met my gran

Hi Doreen,
I've attached a few search results from rootsireland which you may not have seen.
The Robert births shows another which might be worth checking (it's a pay site though).
There's a 5 year + difference between the possible birth years 1858 & 1865 and her death age 52 in 1922 = 1870.
There are 3 pages of Cath Whites in Dublin in the 1901 census - one aged 31 (born 1870) another aged 43 (born 1858).
Balrothery would have been for single mums I guess. There is a Balrothery parish on this site so maybe you could contact them.
