I would love to know where my great great grandfather William Southern came from. He was born around 1833 and lived in Dublin with his wife Anne Monaghan / Monahan who was a pork sausage maker! William seemingly worked with steam engines as his occupation was engine fitter, so I think he worked for the rail works at Inchicore. If anyone can throw any further light on his history, birth etc I would be so grateful as I have now reached a road block!
