Hi all, my family that came to America did not pass on their ancestral history. At this point my only chance at locating family is through DNA. I am looking for any McGuinn, Quinn (or similar named) Men in the Sligo County (or Mayo) area that have tested their Y-Dna, specifically SNP/ Haplogroup testing. I am under FGC23742, looking for similar haplotype. Closely related names that have tested are Gorman Fay Ryder Naughton Moore Dowd Crean Barry Morrow Keelty McGowen

Hi TM, hope you got some replies, I am looking at old queries here. Did you check to see if there are any Facebook DNA private groups for Sligo, there is at least one for most counties, also there are all Ireland ones but most matches are at the lower end with everyone stuck at the same place.
