Following on from the NYC Chronicles webinar, we stayed with the theme of New York for September's installment of our Creating Connections webinar series.
We discussed how the Irish emigrated from Ireland to the New York ports in the 1800s and the 1900s.
We looked at the various ports the Irish emigrated to during this time and the journeys undertaken by many people from their homes in Ireland to Ellis Island or Castle Garden.
More content and resources for emigration through New York Ports can be found here.
