John Walsh was a Dublin Photographer who had a studio and shop on 50 Francis Street in the liberties area of Dublin a few doors down from St.Nicholas of Myra Church.
He was married to Suey Guy who ran the Myra Dairy Shop at the same premises.
He was most active as a working photographer in the 1950's thru to 90's, and over his lifetime he took many photos of the people around the liberties and Dublin City areas including schools, weddings and family events.
When he passed away he left thousands of negatives and photos which his grandson is now trying to share with the people via the Facebook Page: The 50 Francis Street Photographer
