HOW TO LOCATE A GRAVEYARD OR CEMETERY

The County Roscommon Graveyard Survey carried out in 2005, identified, mapped and created a database of basic information on every graveyard or burial ground in the county – including those no longer or not currently in use and those not in the care of Roscommon County Council.

This Roscoco database can be explored online and help you discover

  • who owns/manages a graveyard,

  • where its headstone inscriptions can be found, and

  • if any local history publication exists for it.
