Hello again, from Australia.
If someone is able to help me please, I will be most grateful.
Many thanks to assistance from a member over there, I now have the Death Certificate for a GGG Grandmother, Eliza English nee Hammond (died aged 82 in 1878) in Bridge Street, Tipperary. I am now after information / records for her husband, James English (approx. 1792-1870) who was in the Army. The only other information I have is that his father was George English.
If someone would be in a position to look this up for me in Irish records, or point me in the right direction, it would be most appreciated. Your systems seem much more complicated and I don't quite understand it all - especially with so many parishes - and I have no idea of the parishes. The Death Certificate for Eliza Hammond gives the Superintendent Registrar's District, the Registrar's District and the Union and County all as being Tipperary!
Please can you help me?
