Looking for any relatives or information on Thomas Kenned & wife Mary McBride of County Antrim.
Not 100% on County as relative was very old when telling this.
They were married and emigrated to Canada settled near Blairton, Ontario. Had children Eliza & Alex +.
Any information would be helpful.

Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Do you have any other information that you can share? Can you give any important dates that would help establish the time frame that you are looking at? Dates such as birth/marriage or of the dates of their emigration. Do you know their religious denomination? Do you have the names of any parents or siblings?
Without a more specific location it may be difficult to find more information. Most Irish record sources- church records, land records, census records- are based on specific locations. Until you know a specific location within Ireland, preferably a parish or placename, it may be difficult to do anything more with these records.
You could try looking into their emigration. Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than that of departure. If you knew where they arrived it may be a place to get more inforamtion on the couple and perhaps even an exact place of origin. Check the National Library and Archives of Canada for immigration information. Here is the weblink:

Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Kind regards,
