Samuel and Alexander Turrentine, brothers, arrived from Ireland aboard the brigantine "Kouli Kan" in November 1745 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  There is no record of where in Ireland.   In the colonies their religion was Presbyterian.

Samuel was born about 1717 and Alexander about 1725.

Through Y-DNA testing our closet matches are from Antrim, Ireland, but are not surname matches.  We are looking for descendants of James Alexander Turkington a Presbyterian in Antrim to see if there is a match.
