Hi everyone
Does anyone know how I can find records for the Rosbotham family - 1850 to 1880?
I cannot seem to discover online. Have emailed the Dean.
Hopefully, Robyn

Robyn,
Subscription site www.rootsireland.ie may be able to assist.
I see records for St. Anne's, Shankill 1846 and 1852.
Civil records in Ireland are from January 1st 1864 - Free - www.irishgenealogy.ie
There are various spellings of the name.

McCoy

There’s a copy of the records in PRONI in Belfast. Some years are also on the rootsireland site as mentioned by McCoy. The Cathedral may do a look up for you too, though there may be a fee for that service.

I am so sorry - didn't receive notifications of your replies - am most grateful.
I wrote to the Dean of the Cathedral, am happy to pay, did not receive a reply.
Just checked out PRONI Belfast, no luck.....
Have lots of information on my family, just crave more!
Thanks again, Robyn

Robyn,
A personal visit is required to access the PRONI records. (They are not on-line). This link explains what records exist, parish by parish:
https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/publications/proni-guide-church-records
If you are unable to go yourself, you could employ a researcher. Researchers in the PRONI area: http://sgni.net
