I am descended from Joseph Jackson born about 1690. I have read that he and his brothers were doctors and that he was maried three times. His son David Jackson was my 6th great grandfather and was born to Joseph's wife Elizabeth Vance in 1730. By then the family was living in Newtown, Limavady. I will be happy to share what little information I have on this family.

I am a descendent of Samuel Jackson 1726-1772 born in Cerrickfergus, Ireland. He is my 5th Great Grandfather. His wife is Catherine or Mary Catherine. His Parents were Hugh and Mary.
I wonder if they/we are related?

I am also. He is my 5th great grandfather via his son Samuel Peter Jackson. My great grandfather was Mason “Mace” Jackson and Mason’s son was my father Stonewall Jackson.
