I am searching for information about John D. Connelly born about 1595 to 1615 in Armagh County in Northern Ireland. Spouse unknown. Supposedly he had at least one son, Henry Connelly born about 1635 in Armagh County and died about 1700 in Armagh County. The information I have found said he married Polly Hawes born about 1640 in Ireland.

[1] I only found one source that lists Polly Hawes as the first Henry Connelly’s wife so I am unable to confirm this entry.

Unfortunately there really aren?t any records in Ireland for the late 1500s and early to mid 1600s that would enable you to trace this family. There?s no useful line of enquiry that I can think of that would really assist you. The name Connelly/Connolly is common enough in the county but the church records only go back to the early 1800s. In some cases not even that far. So there?s a huge gap, an insurmountable one in my opinion in getting back to 1650 or thereabouts.

I was able to find the following:
John D CONNELLY was born in 1613 in County, Armagh, Ireland. He had one son with Catherine Reynolds in 1630. He died as a young father in 1638 in his hometown.
