My great grandfather was Samuel Warnock [c.1851-1927] who married Margaret Florence Richardson [c.1848-1935] at Drumcree Church of Ireland in 1870.

Samuel was a hemstitch factory manager and smallholder.  The couple lived with their ten children at Drumgoose Cottage not far from Drumcree.

Samuel's parents were John Warnock [c.1801-1882] farmer at Kilmagamish and Ann Grimason [c.1806-1879].  Some of their children emigrated to Hartford, Connecticut to work in the silk mills.

Margaret Florence Richardson was the daughter of farmer, Thomas Richardson, and his wife Anne Kingsborough of Derrymattery, Drumcree.  I know very little about this couple or their children.

I'm finding it difficult to sort out the various Warnock branches in Drumcree, not helped by records of  other Warnocks living in Portadown, who were probably not related.

Happy to hear from anyone researching these families!
