Hello there,
I am looking for any information available on my ancestors Thomas McGuire (Born 1810) and his father Hugh McGuire (born about 1773). I have information pointing to them being from the town of Armagh. They both eventually immigrated to the US prior to 1850 and settled in Michigan.
Hugh's wife was Isabella McKeever likely of Fermanagh.

I assume the family were Roman Catholic. If so, Armagh’s parish records start in 1796. So if Thomas was born there in 1810 you may find his baptism. The RC parish records are on-line free on the National Library site:
