Thomas Hugh McGwin is my 3rd Great Grandfather. Born 5/6/1788 to a John & Mary McGwin. Married Eliza Jane Mendeville in 1828. Looking for further information on the McGwins & if there are relatives in Ireland still!

McGwin in the current spelling can not be found in Newry , found some later records of the McGwin name in County Offaly and county Sligo.
Do you know when the McGwins emigrated ?

I am not sure I understand the question. Are you wanting emigrated to the U.S.? I show that Thomas Hugh arrived in Michigan in 1830. His father, John, I have no information on!
