  • Dear Gillian

Thanks for getting back to me.

Carlow records are not yet available on line on the rootsireland.ie site (not the RC ones anyway).  You could have a look on familyserch.org where there are 205 Wade entries (you can reduce this by adding the relevent years/dates!):

    https://familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bsurname%3AWade~%20%2Brecord_country%3AIreland%20%2Brecord_subcountry%3A%22Ireland%2CCarlow%22

You could also check Griffith?s Valuation (1847-1864) for any Wade entries:

    http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/

Let me know if you find anything new

    Best wishes

  • Dear Gillian

My two great grand uncles married two Wade sisters from Tomard Upper Rathornan Co Carlow. Their names were Ann and Margaret Wade. Their parents were John and Ellen Wade. I'm not sure if they are the same family you are looking for!

    Regards Annette
