Hi - I am researching the details of James Brady and Susan McGooghan who married 1872 at Staghall,Drumlane.
I know at the time of marriage James came from Killywilly and Susan from Quivvy, other than that I know their fathers were Patrick and Peter and not much else.
Would love to hear from anyone that could help shed some light on either family
many thanks

Steph:
I checked the 1901 and 1911 census records for Killywilly but did not find any Bradys. There were two Magoohan families in Quivvy in 1901 and one in 1911.

Looks like the older Mary Magoohan died in 1903. Possibly she was the mother of Susan? Below is her death index record. You can write to the GRO www.groireland.ie to get a copy of this record for around 4 euros. Fill out the GRO form and provide the quarter/year of death, registration district (Cavan) and the volume and page number ( 3 and 50).
