my gggrandfather Charles Reilly was born in Kilmore in about 1854. He married Bridget Costello and joined the Bedfordshire regiment in 1872. He died in Dublin in around 1911. Any information will be much appreciated.

Lizzy H:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Do you have the parents names for Charles? Roots Ireland has 19 Charles Reilly baptismal records in Cavan 1849-1859.
Where did they get married? The only possible marriage I can locate was in 1880 in Belfast.

If you have any living relatives who might have heard stories or collected family history, this can be a valuable resource. Many families pass down details about their ancestors, and sometimes these stories can include information about tragedies, hardships, or struggles in the family, such as financial difficulties, health issues, or personal loss.
