His brothers were auctioneers

His nephew Frank Fitzpatrick became a Comdt in the Irish Army

His niece Roseanne Fitzpatrick taugh primary education: She married Michael Brady (no relation) and had no children

Roseanne Fitzpatrick address was: Bridge Street, Drumcrow, Co Cavan.

    The family name Brady . .of the Cavan area . . occurs in 1919 . . when a Sgt.Philip Brady of the R.I.C. was ambushed and shot dead by the I.R.A. in the country district of N.Tipperary . . 

    A book . . published . . " A Lorrha Miscellany " by Seamus King . . ISBN 0-9538423-2-0  . . tells the story.
