The only record that I have of were they came from other then Ireland is death record on Annie Carberry. One record from LDS- on Rose [birth, she did not come to US ?] it shows Arvugh,Co. Cavan. William's death record [he was living with son] no parents given. Would like to find out more about this family when they lived in Ireland. Thank You for any help.

CARBERRY: At least two families of the name, apparently unrelated, account for the name in Ireland today. O'Cairbre, of the barony of Clonlonan in Co. Westmeath was the ancestor of one branch that became erenaghs of Galloon, in the barony of Coole, Co. Feranage. Others of the name descend from MacCairbre, of the barony of Glenahiry, in Co. Waterford. Note the place name of Ballymacarbry there. In the census of 1659 Carbery was a principal name of Armagh, and the name was also in Kildare, Dublin and Meath at the time. Patrick Carberry, Elm St. The funeral occurred this aforenoon at St. Leo church,
Rev. Eugene Toher officiating at a high mass of requiem. Mrs. Henry Sullivan sang 'Jerusalem." Many friends and relatives were present. Burial was in St Leo Cemetery where Rev. M.J. McKenna read prayers at the grave. The bearers were Michael O'Keefe,James and Luke Scanlon, Patrick Mullaney. There were many beautiful floral offerings.

Notes for Patrick W. Carberry:
He Immigrated to the U.S. in 1878 with his family, father mother and sister Annie. To Vassalboro Maine were he worked in the Woolen Mill. He removed to Leominster Mass about 1886-1887. He payed a poll tax in 1887. In 1888 he had a house and barn on 40 Elm St. In 1899 he had added a hen house and was taxed for 100 poultry was living on 40 Elm St. when he made his final declaration a became a citizen of the United of America on September 10, 1886. He was twenty-nine years of age and occupation was a weaver. His witnesses were James Sullivan and William Thompson both of Leominster Mass. He married in 1892 to Catherine A. McCormick and there first son was born on July 11, 1894.During that time his father William and sister Annie lived with them. The new century was not going to be good on the Carberry family. January 22, 1900 Patrick lost his Catherine to Cancer and in November he lost his father. Thing looked up in 1909 when he married Annie Flynn. The spring of 1917 pneumonia ran ramped Thur Leominster and took the life of his sister Annie. In the 1900 Leominster Directory he is listed as being a employed by Leominster Worsted Co. and living at 116 Elm St Leominster Mass. In 1930 he is listed as living at 947 Lancaster St. The same address as his son John. He worked most of his life in the Woolen Mills and as a poultry farmer.
: His obituary in the Leominster Daily Enterprise reads as follow : "Patrick W. Carberry , 72, died early last evening after a short illness. He was born in Ireland, coming to Leominster as a young man, and was a highly respected citizen. He leaves a wife, Annie Carberry, and two sons, William J. Carberry of Worcester and John F. Carberry of this city. The funeral will be held from his home, 947 Lancaster street, Tuesday morning, with a solemn high mass of requiem at St. Leo's Church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Leo's Cemetery in charge of the H. M. Foster Co. The funeral was held Aug. 7, 1934 with a solemn high mass of requiem celebrated by Rev. Michael T. Slattery, assisted by Rev. John J. Merrisey as deacon and Rev. Joseph Lynch, sub-deacon. Mrs. Marie Beaudette and Frankin T. Crowley was at the soloists. Mrs. Crowley was the organ. The floral tributes were many and the church was filled with friends and relatives. The Rev. Fr.Lynch read prayers at the grave. The bearers were William and Leo McNamars of Maynard,

Bernard Carbery married to Mary Brady, Ballyhaise, Cavan..My maternal GGGParents. Both died in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Bernard was a farmer in IE. On GGMothers birth cert the name is spelled Cabany.
