I am searching for information on my gr gr grandparents John Fitzgerald son of Patrick Fitzgerald and Mary [I have a transcript that gives the mothers name as Larkin] Hard to read on the film image but doesn't look like Larkin. John was baptized 27 May 1832 at the RC Church Cavan.

My gr gr grandmother Ann Maxwell baptized 5 May 1835 Cavan RC daughter of Henry Maxwell and Mary Brady.

Any information will be greatly appreciated as this has been a brick wall for many years.

I am looking forward to learning more about my Irish heritage.

    I couldn't find John's parents' marriage

    The Tithe Applotments (free online at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/) have 18 Fitzgeralds & 20 Maxwells in Cavan 1826-33.

    Evene better - the Irish Census of 1821 (free at http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/) has 82 Maxwells in Cavan including 4 Henrys but no Fitzgeralds.
