I am trying to find information of my 2nd great grandfather John Fitzsimmons from the England 1841 census he is shown as aged 30 years and his wife Ellen is shown as 20 years of age, son Henry 4 years and son Michael 2 years, all but Michael were recorded as being born in Ireland.
I can find no trace of John or Ellen's birth or marriage but as I am not exactly sure of the spelling of the surnames that could be the cause.
John & Ellen went on to have a further seven children all born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England and I am descended from their last child James.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hi Carole
There are 2 marriage records of John & Ellen on www.rootsireland.ie/
One is Fitsimmons 1833 & 1 is Fitzsimons 1836; both are from Westmeath
The 1833 is from TAUGHMON RC parish; 1836 is from CASTLETOWN-GEOGHAN RC
I would be hopeful that the 1836 is the correct record as Ellen would have been 15 then as opposed to 12 in 1833!
There is a charge for the records on roots but it MAY have the bride & groom's parents' names (& Ellen's surname)
I assume you are suggesting Ellen's surname was Leadey but I had no luck with this in the search criteria
There are 7 birth/baptism records for John 1811 + - 1 year: 4 in Meath, 2 in Dublin & 1 in Cavan
The parish of the Cavan 1 is Cavan RC
