Looking for information on Elizabeth Heaslip bc 1836 Cavan, Ireland daughter of Joseph Heaslip. Elizabeth arrived in South Australia on 24 December 1853 on "Epaminondas" aged 16 with her siblings David aged 14, Matilda 12 and Margaret 13. Also on the ship was another Heaslip family from Meath. In 1857 Elizabeth married Francis Humphrys in Gawler, South Australia. Any information would be appreciated.
Thank You, Denise

Denise:
I checked Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie but was unable to locate a baptismal record for an Elizabeth Heaslip, father Joseph around 1836.
I checked the 1828 Tithe Applotment listings www.titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie Almost all of the Heaslip records were in Denn civil parish. There was one Joseph record and a couple Josh records which are actually Joseph when you look at the microfilm. Possibly one of these is the father of Elizabeth.
The 1856 Griffiths Valuation for Denn civil parish also shows a good number of Heaslip records.

I would focus my search in that parish.
