I am interested in finding information on Frances/Fanny/Fannie NAYE BYERS of County Cavan. She was married to Samuel BYERS. He died before 1935. Frances died in 1944.
Frances may be a sister to my great, great grandmother Mary Jane Naye. I know Mary Janes parents were James and Margaret GIBSON NAYE. I need to find out if they are also Frances' parents. If so, I found several more generations of my family to add to the tree. All I need is that one link.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lisa:
Below is the 1877 civil marriage index record for Samuel and Faye. You can get a copy of the record for around 4 euros from the General Register Office. The record will show the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and where the bride and groom were living in 1877. If you want to get a copy let me know and I will forward instructions.

Go to this link https://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Apply-for-Certificates.aspx print out the marriage form. Fill the form out to the best of your ability, make sure you request a copy, include the info from the index record: year of the event, registration district and volume and page number.
You have to use snail mail to send the request to the GRO office in Co. Roscommon (address provided with the form), however, you can ask GRO to e-mail the copy back. I usally get my copies in two weeks and I live in the USA.
