I am trying to find information and/or make contact with members of my NAYE family. James NAYE was born about 1840 in County Cavan. His parents were James NAYE and Margaret GIBSON NAYE. His siblings were Samuel, Sarah, Lizzie and Mary Jane NAYE. The will of Margaret GIBSON NAYE makes mention of "Edergol" County Cavan. James and some of his siblings came to the United States in the 1850's and settled in Pennsylvania. James and his sister, Mary Jane, each married a HEWITT, also from Ireland but county unknown.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Edergole is a townland in Larah civil parish which is more or less in the center of Co.Cavan. I did find one Naye family in Edergole in the 1901 census. The head of household was John age 55. You did not mention a John so I'm not sure of his relationship to James.
