Thanks for your message. Civil registration did not begin until 1864 so you will have to look in church records for their marriage record. Most Catholic records are held locally so you may need to write to the local parish priest for possible assistance. One website that you may find useful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. It also shows you where copies of the records are available.  The marriage record for this couple appears on page 136 of the Inagh RC Parish Register HERE. Witnesses to this marriage: Tomas?James? Barry & Thady (aka Timothy) Curtin

• Timothy Curtin was a hedge schoolmaster resident of the townland of Drumanure, Mauricemills.
• The  townland of Drumanure, Mauricemills was a stronghold for the Barry family in this area.

• The Leydon family stronghold was in the townland of Sileshaun East (adjacent to Garvoghil and Maghera).
