Hello. I live on Bribie Island South Pacific Ocean.

I am doing family research on Bridget McGrath. Born 10 Feb 1859. Catholic parish register microfim 02471/10.

Died 7 Fanuary 1935 Mt Perry Queensland Australia.

My info is she was from Diocese of Killaloe Clare.

She married Peter Bannah on 23 Dec 1884 at St Mary's Church Maryborough Australia, who is my grandfather.

    Do you know if Bridget had a twin brother Patrick? The reason i ask is I located baptismal records on February 14 1859 for twins Pat and Biddy McGrath. Parents were Patrick McGrath and Mary Reidy. The parish was Kilmacduane/Cooraclare. Here is a link to the register page with the baptisms.

    I located the record on the subscription site FindMyPast.ie  There was one other Bridget McGrath baptism in Co. Clare in 1859 but it was in November.

    Let me know if you think this record pertains to your ancestor and I will look for other siblings.

    I will try and find out some more info about Bridget, and the family, I know very little, all the oldies died before I became interested in doing family research.

    All the info I have sourced is on WikiTree under my family name, Aubrey Bannah. Just goog;e my name and follow the prompts to WikiTree.
