The March heritage talk in the X-PO is entitled “A Place Apart – The Cliffs. The Cliffs of Moher”. It will take place on Thursday March 28th at 8.30 p.m. in the X-PO in Killinaboy. The guest speaker is Cormac Mc Ginley.

This talk will focus on the rich and fascinating heritage of Ireland’s fourth highest range of sea cliffs, the Cliffs of Moher. It will include incisive commentaries on the geology, bird life, wildlife, human history and folklore of the Cliffs.
Cormac Mc Ginley is a native of Teelin, County Donegal. Cormac studied zoology and marine biology at Aberdeen University. He subsequently worked as education officer at the Cliffs of Moher Experience for 11 years. In 2018 he founded Cormac’s Coast which offers specialist guided Cliffs of Moher walks.
The event is free of charge. Donations to X-PO welcome. X-PO is a community hub located in the former post office in Killinaboy.
