hello I am trying to locate my ancestor by the name of Bartholomew Jordan ,date of birth unsure as he gave 2 differrent ages in the British census, 1811 or 1823 He lived in Bradford Yorkshire where he died in1882. His father was also called Bartholomew and was an hawker of fish Iam not sure which part of Cork they came from so hopefully somebody willbe able to help me in this difficult task .

You may want to look at www.irishgenealogy.ie which is an Irish governnment site which has church records from part of Co. Cork. There are some Bartholomew Jordan baptismal records from the late 1700s but none from 1811-1823. Maybe the older records relate to the father.
