Holland Family tree

Vincent:

The RC church related to Ballycurrany civil parish is Lisgoold. I searched Roots Ireland for baptismal records for a John Holland with father Denis and only one record came up in 1840. See below. The record was in the Newmarket RC church which is a good distance from Lisgoold.

Likely this is not your ancestor.

Any other clues?

Hi Vincent do you have the location Ballycurrany correct? As Roger indicated this place is in Lisgoold parish co cork. Have checked the gravestone inscriptions & none for surname of Holland in cemeteries in lisgoold parish. However I did locate on www.irishgenealogy.ie a baptism record as follows:
John Holland baptism 16th May 1844 in Diocese of Cork & Ross RC Parish Ovens & Aglis.
Parents: Denis Holland & Kate Murphy.
